The game is undoubtedly pretty and well designed. There are a few areas where I feel the game really stalls, however. Without in app purchases, the game really slows to an insufferable grind, and resource demands far exceed my willpower to do the same monotonous tasks over and over. PvP is also lacking. Ants can be commanded to attack, but creatures are daft and almost never stay on task even while my army is getting ripped to ribbons. They just wander and barely get involved, far too often.

cute but lacking I 1st played this 4 a while in about 2021/2022. I'm very finicky with mobile games so I'll play for months and then vanish. I decided to revisit it, but honestly for how long it's been out I kind of expected it to have a bit more. I do like some of the new stuff but it doesn't feel very different at all and is boring quickly. if it had more solitary stuff I think I'd be more invested. I don't mind coop but I don't like when games focus almost entirely on coop features.

Its a great time killer that offers a casual yet strategic gameplay experience. It’s easy to pick up and play at your own pace, focusing more on tactics and long-term strategy than on realism or simulation. The progression is long-term, upgrade skills and abilities over time. It doesn't bombard you with ads—you choose if and when to watch them. Con: Need to have good connection as rewards are cloud based. If you lose connection at a bad time may lead to lost reward. For me is rare, no biggie.
